Cancon 2013 is coming!

Several of us are playing warhammer, and though not yet up on the Cancon website, I have confirmed there will be MtG events run.
We have booked a house in Canberra (about 20 mins drive from the the venue). The cost of this is just under $1500 and the cost will be split by all those staying. The house has 5 beds (already spoken for) and extra people will need to provide their own bedding.

We need to start thinking about who is driving.
I know Brendan, Michael and I are all unable to drive.

Alright guys. Thanks for your patience, details for the house are.
Total cost $1470 + $100 security deposit.
Assuming 8 people that breaks down to $183.75 (given return of bond).
This cost will of course go down if any one else would like to come. All are welcome, it’s gonna be an awesome time!

So we have 2 drivers confirmed, Danny and Damien.
With only 8 of us 2 cars should be enough, slightly cheaper and more sociable.
The current plan is:
Michael and Scott to make their way to Danny’s (Scott hopefully you can drive as Michael is not travelling back with us.) Danny can then pickup Antony on the way as his car is not operational.
Damien to pickup Matt, Brendan and myself.
Brendan’s trailer is avalable if we are concerned about car space, but hopefully we won’t need it.
This feels the best balance of fitting in warhammer armies and people with extra sleeping gear (Damien, Scott, Brendan that’s you as you don’t have a bed)

Sounds good. Whats the plan for timing that morning? Meet at the same place on the road as before?
Michael and Scott – maybe get to my place 15-20 earlier as Antonys place in Bayswater (i think) will be 15-20 mins drive. My address is 2 The Glade Ringwood North:

So did some rough estimates and it looks like cars should be leaving from Frankston at 7:00 to get to Wallan mac as around 8:30
This is our usual schedule which gets us on the other side of the city before the traffic gets bad.

Ok – for Scott & Michael: Please aim to be at my place (address is shown in an above post) by around 7:00-7:15.
Its then a 10-15 min drive to pick up Anthony in Bayswater and then a 1hr drive to Wallan from there (or so Google maps tells me).

Scott is going to stay the night at my place on Thursday, so that’s one less point of failure! 🙂
