Let’s Draft Alara Reborn
Okay people,
Now Alara Reborn has been released I think it’s time to start drafting Alara block. Who’d be interested in drafting this Friday, 7:15 at our place?
Also, we’ll plan for next Friday too and go fortnightly from there!

I’ll be there. Draft is my favourite thing in the world. I think it’s a great idea if you can do a regular draft (fortnightly). I’ll be there for them too. Unless I tell you differently just assume I’m there.

By alara block do you mean one booster from each set? That would be awesome.

For some practice on drafting this block go to:
http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=7366. Youll have to make an account (free), but after that it can use it to simulate a draft of the Alara block

Cool thanks, Daniel. I looked at the logs for a couple of drafts where one of the bots was drafting red/green big creatures and took a 6th pick Tower Gargoyle over a Druid of the Anima, so I think they may still have some way to go in programming their artificial intelligence. But cool, nonetheless.

Ha! no wonder i get such a good deck when i go on that site. Still its a great site to procrastinate on at work.
Also, sorry but i probably shouldnt come tonight – got a VERY important soccer game tomorrow, so ill need a relatively early night
