Lorwyn Prerelease
Venue: Student Union Cafeteria, Bowen St, RMIT (Between Latrobe St and Franklin St)
Format: 1 Lorwyn Tournament Pack, 2 Lorwyn Booster Packs per person, per flight for individual flights, 1 Lorwyn Tournament Pack and 4 Lorwyn Boosters for 2-Headed Giant.
Cost: $35 per individual flight, $50 per 2-Headed Giant Team
Prizes: Players that win a round will receive 2 Lorwyn boosters (3 boosters for a 2HG win). All participants will receive a Lorwyn Prerelease promotional foil card for each Flight played in.

Also, sorry about the lack of drafts the last couple of weeks… it’s because I’m currently spending many hours a day writing. I have to submit my PhD thesis by the end of October. It’s progressing, but it’s hard work and is taking most of my time.
I might be up for drafting next weekend depending on where I’m at… we’ll see. Anyway, come beginning of November I’ll be up for lots of Magical get togethers.

I think that I will play in 1 or 2 individual flights on Saturday, and Chelsea and I are planning to play in a 2HG flight together on Sunday (though we could switch the days).
Who else can come, and what are you interested in playing in?

Me, Chris Every, Aaron and Chris Thomas are probably going on the Sunday morning flight, with Matt maybe going to the Saturday one. Not sure which flight for him.

I’ll preregister the rest of us (Matt P, Daniel, Matt C, Brendan, Carey, Chelsea, myself) tomorrow then.
Looks like Carey will be playing in the Sunday morning individual flight.
I think Brendan, Matt C and I are going to go on Saturday and then the three of us and Chelsea will play on Sunday as two two-headed giant teams.
Steve Tuck isn’t sure if he can make it.

Okay, I just sent an email to Russell registering the following:
Hey Daniel, Matt P and Pat, at some point can I your DCI numbers (and whatever version of your name you have on your DCI card)? (It’s useful for preregistration and it also means I can make the DCI Reporter software we use for drafting remember you so we don’t have to type your names in each time. 😉 )
Also, for anyone that hasn’t already remember to sign up for Magic Player Rewards. It doesn’t cost anything… you just go to that page, sign in with your DCI account and that’s it. After five tournaments they send you a plastic DCI card and send you a couple of textless uncommons for every five events you play in.
