Easter Monday draft day

Chelsea and I will be hosting a draft day on Easter Monday. We’ll start at 10am, and do at least two drafts, possibly three. Probably we’ll do some BBQing for lunch/dinner. Probably one Zendikar draft as well as Time Spiral or Coldsnap (or we can just vote on formats of choice, see possibilities in the comments). It will be 13 dollars or less per draft, depending on exactly what we draft.

If you’re not listed on the site as coming, please let me know if you can make it so I can confirm numbers.

    I am good with all that. Couple of questions:
    Will it be triple time spiral or time spiral block?
    Are you thinking of keeping a score across all three drafts or keeping them seperate?
    Is it possible to do Ice Age Block?
    What other formats are available to choose from (though i am happy with those)?

    Sorry, yes, it would be Time Spiral block.

    I don’t think you’d want to do Ice Age block… you can probably get cheap packs of Ice Age but it wasn’t designed for drafting and is mostly terrible. Plus, the real fun of Coldsnap is that is is the only small set designed for triple pack drafting so it actually has a bunch of cool synergies that make the format fun.

    Kamigawa block (COK BOK SOK)
    Time Spiral block (TSP PLC FUT)
    Coldsnap (CSP CSP CSP, max 9 people)
    Ravnica block (RAV GPT DIS)
    Shards block (ALA CON ARB)
    Zendikar block (ZEN ZEN WWK)

    I’d love to have a go at all of those (I have only ever drafted triple mirrodin, shards block and zen). I’m happy whatever we draft (though i have a preference for non standard).

    Cool. We’ll do each draft separately, with it’s own pairings and rare-draft. But you can marvel/dispair at your overall record for the day on the website later!
