The new base set M11 released soon.
On Sunday 1st Aug I will be hosting a Two Headed Giant Atogatog.

Teams can be organised before the day, but will be finalised on the when we know all players who are coming.
Each team will receive 8 packs with which to build two 40 card decks. Arguments over who gets what card to be held after the event :D.

Feel free to arrive from 10.30 onwards. Packs can be opened when your teammate arrives. Games to start at 12.00.
We will play either 4 or 5 rounds depending on the number of players.

As usual there will be packs for sale at the end of the day.

Sunday May 16th. Nationals Qualifier. Standard Constructed. $20. 9:30 rego for 10am start. Melbourne High School. Top 8 gets you qualified for Australian Nationals!.

Sun 6th June – PTQ Amsterdam. Standard Constructed. 9:30 registration for 10am start, $20. Melbourne High School. 1st gets you a Pro Tour invite and plane fare. 2nd gets you a box, etc, etc..

The Eldrazi have risen!

The Rise of the Eldrazi Atogatog will be on Sunday 9th May at my place as usual. Games start at 12.00 sharp. Feel free to roll along from 10.30 onwards to start cracking packs and building decks.

It will cost around $30-$35 as usual and I will likely be selling some cheap packs at the end. For Rise of the Eldrazi we will each receive 6 boosters with which to make decks and will be battling for 5 rounds to determine the champion.

Please let me know at least a week in advance if you are coming so I can organise all the packs.

Chelsea and I will be hosting a draft day on Easter Monday. We’ll start at 10am, and do at least two drafts, possibly three. Probably we’ll do some BBQing for lunch/dinner. Probably one Zendikar draft as well as Time Spiral or Coldsnap (or we can just vote on formats of choice, see possibilities in the comments). It will be 13 dollars or less per draft, depending on exactly what we draft.

If you’re not listed on the site as coming, please let me know if you can make it so I can confirm numbers.

Okay, it must be time to get back into drafting regularly. Saturdays aren’t good for the next couple of weeks but Fridays are okay, so I’m suggesting 7pm this Friday and next Friday as a good start.

Let me know if you’re available. I’m looking forward to drafting some Worldwake and to catching up with people!

Also, if we don’t have numbers for drafting this Friday, I’d still be interested in playing standard for anyone free.
