Several of us are keen to head up to Canberra again to go to Cancon for either magic or warhammer.

Cancon is held on the 22nd, 23rd, 24th of January.
The main magic tournaments are:
$1000k Standard
Scars Sealed (boosters for winning matches)
Extended PTQ
There are also side events in the afternoon and drafting in the evening.

The warhammer is a 3 day tournament and will require booking a place in advance.

The basic plan at this point is to drive up on Friday 21st and drive back on Tuesday 25th.
I have booked accomodation for us. I will pay all the accomodation costs and just hit people up for money at the event.
Carotel Motel Family Cabins to sleep up to 9, includes kitchenette $285/night looks like $30/night each based on filling the beds.

The machines are back!

The Scars of Mirrodin Atogatog will be on Sunday 17th October at our place (rather than at Steve’s due to his honeymoon absence). Games start at 12.00 sharp. Feel free to roll along from 10.30 onwards to start cracking packs and building decks.

It will cost around $30-$35 as usual and I will likely be selling some cheap packs at the end. For Scars of Mirrodin we will each receive 6 boosters with which to make decks and will be battling for 5 rounds to determine the champion.

Please let me know at least a week in advance if you are coming so I can organise all the packs.

Hey Guys

I get married in a couple of weeks and as I am being kicked out of home the night before the wedding I figured it was a fine time to have a draft!
Michael has kindly agreed to host (and put me up for the night).

Hi gang, Just a quick message to let you know I will be overseas (Germany, UK, Japan) for work until the 16th September. Have fun Magicing in my absence and we’ll try and get back into the swing of drafting upon my return.
